Job Description:
A Personal Care Assistant (PCA) provides essential support and assistance to clients who are elderly, disabled, recovering from illness, or require help with daily living activities. The role focuses on ensuring the client’s comfort, dignity, safety, and independence while delivering high-quality, compassionate care.
Key Responsibilities :
As a PCA, your primary responsibility is to support your employer in living independently. While prior experience or qualifications are not always necessary, having the right values and attitude is essential.
PCAs may assist with various aspects of their employer's life, such as:
● Personal Care: Assisting with using the bathroom or getting dressed.
● Day-to-Day Living: Cooking, cleaning, shopping, or providing support at work.
● Community Activities: Providing transportation, driving their car, or using public transport.
● Maintaining Interests: Supporting hobbies, relationships, and social activities

● Respect Employer’s Preferences: Understand how your employer prefers things to be done.
● Maintain Dignity and Privacy: Always uphold the dignity and privacy of your employer and their family.
● Value Expertise: Recognise that your employer is the expert in their own care or, in the case of supporting a child, the parent or guardian knows best.

Pay: £12.71-£14.50 per hour
