Role: Rehabilitation Support Worker
Location: Brigg (Community-Based Role)
Pay Rate: £24.00 per hour (Associate Contract)
Hours: 4-6 hours per day, flexible days available
This flexible associate role involves providing 4-6 hours of support per day, helping a young adult access community activity, develop independence and achieve meaningful rehabilitation goals as part of a specialist multidisciplinary team.

- Excellent support, mentoring and training from Sherwood Therapy Services, a CQC-registered therapy and case management provider with extensive experience supporting individuals with complex neurological conditions, physical disabilities and rehabilitation needs.

Essential
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Full UK driving licence and confident to drive a wheelchair accessible vehicle.
- Confident swimmer and able to support participation in hydrotherapy, swimming and community leisure activities.
- Enthusiastic, proactive and able to motivate others.
- Excellent organisational and planning skills.
- Ability to work independently whilst also contributing effectively to a multidisciplinary team.
- Experience supporting individuals with disabilities, neurological conditions or complex needs.
- Ability to remain calm, patient and resilient in challenging situations.
- Strong observational and reporting skills.
- Commitment to promoting independence, choice, dignity and inclusion.
- A flexible and positive attitude towards community-based rehabilitation and activity support.
Desirable
- Experience working as a Rehabilitation Assistant, Therapy Assistant, Support Worker or Personal Assistant.
- Experience supporting people with cerebral palsy and visual impairment.
- Knowledge of positive behaviour support approaches.
- Experience facilitating community access, leisure activities and social participation.
- Relevant qualification in Health and Social Care, Rehabilitation, Psychology or a related field.
