Overview
We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Driver to join our team. Candidates have to be competent, punctual and confident drivers. We are care company and offer home care to clients. As a lot of our staff do not drive we need a full time driver to get our staff members to their care calls on time. Drivers may also need to assist in delivering supplies to our care homes, and if they are willing to, assist with care calls if we are short in staff. Company car will be provided when on shift
Duties
- Drive our care workers to their calls on time
- Deliver supplies and paperwork to our care homes
- Communicate effectively with management and staff to coordinate schedules and resolve any discrepancies.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety compliance.
- It would be beneficial if the driver is comfortable providing care to services users where necessary
Requirements
- Valid driving licence is essential for this position.
- Licence must be valid for the UK
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with team members and clients professionally.
- A good understanding of road safety regulations and best practices for driving in various conditions.
- Logistical and problem solving skills
