Qualified Dental Nurse Opportunity to Progress to Head Nurse
We're looking for a Dental Nurse to join our friendly mixed practice, with an ASAP start possible.
We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work, uses their initiative, and genuinely wants to make a difference.
We're looking for someone who doesn't just do the minimum, but notices when something needs doing and gets on with it. Someone who's organised, reliable, enjoys keeping things running smoothly, and wants to be part of improving the practice.
This is a great opportunity for someone who wants more than "just another nursing job". We're looking for someone who is keen to grow with the practice, take on more responsibility over time and, for the right person, progress into a Head Nurse role.
About the role
As well as the usual chairside nursing duties, we'd love someone who enjoys being involved in the wider running of the practice, including:
- Chairside nursing across a range of treatments.
- Assisting with implant procedures (experience beneficial but not essential).
- Helping keep our compliance and CQC standards up to date.
- Supporting infection prevention and decontamination procedures.
- Keeping surgeries clean, organised and running efficiently.
- Helping improve systems and day-to-day organisation.
- Supporting the team to provide the best possible care for our patients.
About you
We're much more interested in finding the right person than the right qualification. We're looking for someone who:

- Reliable, hardworking and takes pride in maintaining high standards.
- Happy to roll their sleeves up and get stuck in.
- Keen to learn, develop and take on new responsibilities.
- A positive team player with a genuine "can-do" attitude.
Experience with implants or compliance is a bonus, but not essential. We're happy to provide additional training for the right person.
Working hours
Monday to Thursday: 9:00am – 6:00pm
Friday: 9:00am – 5:00pm
No regular weekends.
