Head of Patient Acquisition
Re-Ignite Dental – Hale, Greater Manchester
£35,000 base salary + high, uncapped commission
Full-time | Permanent | Remote working | Flexible hours
The opportunity
Re-Ignite Dental is looking for an exceptional patient acquisition and treatment coordination professional to take ownership of our patient journey—from the first enquiry through to treatment acceptance and booking.
Initially, you will work hands-on: learning our systems, speaking directly with patients, conducting treatment coordination consultations, following up opportunities and ensuring that no suitable patient is lost through poor communication or inconsistent follow-up.
Once you have mastered and strengthened the process, your role will progress into recruiting, training and leading our future patient acquisition and treatment coordination team.
This is an opportunity to build a department—not simply inherit one.
About Re-Ignite Dental
Re-Ignite Dental is an ambitious, independently owned private dental practice based in Hale, Greater Manchester.
We provide cosmetic, implant and advanced restorative dentistry, including clear aligners, composite bonding, porcelain veneers, dental implants and full-mouth rehabilitation.
Our approach is built around clarity, trust and helping patients make properly informed decisions without pressure. We are now looking for someone who can combine outstanding patient care with strong commercial awareness and disciplined follow-up.
Your initial responsibilities
You will take ownership of the patient acquisition journey from enquiry to confirmed treatment, including:
- Responding quickly and professionally to new patient enquiries
- Building trust with prospective patients by telephone, video and messaging
- Understanding each patient’s goals, concerns and barriers to treatment
- Conducting structured treatment coordination consultations
- Explaining treatment journeys, fees and finance options clearly
- Following up every suitable patient consistently and professionally
- Converting enquiries into consultations and consultations into treatment
- Collecting deposits and securing bookings
- Maintaining accurate records within our CRM and practice systems
- Re-engaging previous enquiries and unfinished treatment opportunities
- Working closely with clinicians, reception, management and marketing
- Reviewing lead quality and providing useful feedback to our marketing partners
- Tracking performance across response times, contact rates, bookings, attendance, treatment acceptance and collected revenue
- Identifying weaknesses in the patient journey and implementing improvements
Clinical advice, diagnosis and consent will always remain with the treating clinician. This role is about helping patients understand their options and confidently take the next step when treatment is appropriate for them.
Your progression
After learning and improving the existing systems, you will help us:
- Develop patient acquisition scripts, workflows and follow-up sequences
- Build reporting dashboards and clear performance standards
- Recruit additional patient acquisition and treatment coordination team members
- Design onboarding and training programmes
- Coach the team through call reviews and regular performance meetings
- Set and monitor individual and team KPIs
- Create a consistent, scalable patient journey across the practice
- Lead the department as Re-Ignite Dental continues to grow
Your progression will be based on measurable results, leadership ability and the systems you help create.
Who we are looking for
You may currently be a senior dental treatment coordinator, patient sales manager, patient experience manager or an experienced consultative sales professional within private healthcare.
You should have:
- Strong experience in dental treatment coordination, private healthcare or high-value consultative sales
- A proven ability to convert enquiries into appointments or treatment
- Excellent telephone, video consultation and written communication skills
- Confidence discussing higher-value treatment and finance options
- A warm, reassuring and patient-centred communication style
- Strong commercial awareness without using pressure-based sales tactics
- Excellent organisation and disciplined follow-up
- Confidence working with CRMs, reports and performance data
- The ability to work independently in a remote role
- Experience training, recruiting or managing a sales or treatment coordination team, or clear potential to do so
- High personal accountability and a genuine desire to build something
Experience with Dentally, Boxly or a similar dental CRM would be beneficial but is not essential.
What success looks like
Success in this role will be measured through:
- Speed of response to new enquiries
- Contact and consultation-booking rates
- Consultation attendance
- Appropriate treatment acceptance
- Deposits and collected treatment revenue
- Quality and consistency of follow-up
- Patient feedback and experience
- CRM accuracy and reporting
- Development of a reliable, scalable acquisition system
- Successful recruitment and performance of the future team
We are looking for someone who takes ownership of the whole result—not someone who simply makes calls and waits for patients to decide.
Salary and benefits
- £35,000 annual base salary
- High, uncapped performance-based commission
- Significant earning potential for an exceptional performer
- Remote working
- Flexible working hours
- Direct access to the practice owner and senior decision-makers
- Genuine autonomy to improve systems and implement ideas
- Clear progression into a senior leadership position
- Opportunity to recruit and build your own high-performing team
- Long-term career progression within a growing private dental business
Your working pattern can be flexible, but it must support rapid responses to patient enquiries, scheduled consultations and agreed team coverage.
