Blue 3 Ltd is looking for experienced and professional SIA Door Supervisors to support a licensed premises contract in Skegness.
The role involves maintaining a safe, secure and welcoming environment for customers, employees and visitors. Door Supervisors must remain approachable and professional while being confident in dealing with challenging behaviour, incidents and emergencies.
Main Responsibilities
- Manage customer entry and exit from the venue.
- Conduct identification and age checks where required.
- Monitor crowd movement and customer behaviour.
- Prevent unauthorised entry and enforce venue rules.
- Identify and respond to signs of intoxication, aggression or disorder.
- Use calm communication and de-escalation wherever possible.
- Respond to incidents quickly and professionally.
- Remove or escort individuals from the premises when necessary.
- Use only reasonable and proportionate physical intervention when required.
- Protect customers, venue employees and other members of the security team.
- Work closely with venue management and emergency services.
- Accurately record incidents, refusals and removals.
- Report serious incidents promptly to Blue 3 management.
- Maintain a smart and professional appearance throughout the shift.
Essential Requirements
- A valid SIA Door Supervisor licence.
- Previous experience working in licensed premises or the night-time economy.
- Strong communication and conflict-management skills.
- The ability to remain calm and make sensible decisions under pressure.
- A professional, confident and approachable manner.
- Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team.
- Able to work evenings, weekends and bank holidays.
- The right to work in the United Kingdom.
