This role offers a starting salary within Nacro’s pay structure of £37,581 pro rata entry point, with expected progression to £38,708 pro rota Established within the first year, subject to meeting clear criteria and performance standards, with further pay progression available in the future. This role is a strategic stakeholder engagement and performance support position within Nacro’s Housing and Property Leasing service, supporting the wider Property Leasing function by building and maintaining strong relationships with landlords, investors, property providers and other stakeholders to secure a dynamic supply of properties and bedspaces across Nacro’s services.
It involves shaping stakeholder engagement plans, marketing and communications, data-led targeting, complaints coordination, partnership development and continuous improvement across Nacro’s property portfolio.
Key duties include leading promotional activity for the Leasing Function, acting as the main contact for medium and large property partners, maintaining landlord and investor materials, attending sector events, and using property partner data to improve engagement, retention and growth. The role also includes a people management element, leading a small team and supporting delivery against organisational priorities, compliance requirements and service objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Stakeholder Engagement, Communications & Insight
- Deliver the stakeholder engagement and communications plan, providing insight and analysis to inform engagement strategies and business decisions.
- Use operational data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, ensuring engagement activity is targeted and effective.
2. Strategic Planning & Stakeholder Relationships
- Identify and develop new stakeholder and property partnership opportunities to support organisational growth.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with investors, landlords, agents, and other key stakeholders across England and Wales.
- Contribute evidence and insight to the Strategic Property Leasing Plan and support stakeholder engagement activities across the leasing function.
3. Business Development & Leadership
- Manage agreed budgets, resources, and performance targets.
- Develop engagement and marketing materials in partnership with the central marketing team.
- Contribute to organisational projects, providing strategic advice and leading employees to deliver business objectives.
4. Operational Excellence & Governance
- Drive continuous improvement by identifying best practice, improving processes, and supporting innovation across the property leasing function.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety, contractual, regulatory, and governance requirements, supporting audits and quality assurance.
- Work collaboratively across directorates and deputise for the Property Leasing Engagement and Performance Manager as required.
5. People Management
- Lead, develop, and motivate a high-performing team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Set objectives, manage performance, support employee development, and oversee recruitment and employee relations in line with organisational policies.
- Ensure consistent performance and service standards across geographically dispersed teams.
