Slice Golf Oxford is a premium indoor golf simulator venue that combines sport, socialising, and hospitality in a vibrant and welcoming environment. We are looking for an enthusiastic, proactive, and reliable Duty Manager to help lead our team, oversee daily operations, and ensure every guest enjoys a first-class experience.
Duties
- Lead and supervise the team during shifts, ensuring excellent service standards are maintained at all times
- Oversee the day-to-day operation of the venue, including golf simulator bays, bar service, and guest areas
- Deliver exceptional customer service and resolve guest enquiries or issues professionally
- Support and motivate team members, providing guidance and direction throughout service
- Ensure the bar is well-stocked, organised, and operating efficiently
- Manage opening and closing procedures and ensure venue standards are maintained
- Coordinate events, group bookings, and busy service periods to ensure smooth operations
- Assist guests with simulator setup and provide basic guidance on using the technology
- Monitor cleanliness, health and safety, and compliance standards across the venue
- Work closely with senior management to drive sales, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a supervisory, team leader, or duty management role within hospitality, leisure, or a customer-facing environment
- Strong leadership and organisational skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Confident working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple priorities
- Reliable, proactive, and able to make decisions under pressure
- Experience within hospitality or bar operations preferred
- Interest in golf is desirable but not essential
- Available to work evenings, weekends, and peak trading periods
Pay: £13.50-£14.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 16.0 per week
