Currently we have a healthcare assistant vacancy on night shifts to join our team at our Residential Care Home in Strood, Rochester, Kent. Shifts cover 20.00-08.00 with hours every other weekend on a two week rolling roster.
About You
As a healthcare assistant you will be working within a team of both senior and healthcare assistants. Taking care of the physical and emotional well-being and social needs of our Residents. Assisting Residents with personal care activities such as washing, personal hygiene, dressing. Supporting people that may be awake at night you may find yourself helping someone with limited mobility to learn to use an aid, offering emotional support to a confused or distressed Resident or delivering care to someone at the end of their life, you’ll always have their well-being in mind above anything else.
Experience is essential but we will also provide full training and the opportunity to gain qualifications once probation is successfully completed and of course there is ongoing training support. We are passionate about ensuring that our current and future colleagues are able to develop their career within the health and care sector.
