Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team (Night Shift only available). The successful candidate will provide high-quality patient care, administer medications, and support patients and their families throughout their healthcare journey. This role requires a strong knowledge of anatomy and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of nursing practice.
Duties
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in accordance with established protocols and standards.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring accuracy and adherence to safety guidelines.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any significant changes to the medical team promptly.
- Assist in the development and implementation of individualised care plans for patients.
- Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families regarding health conditions and treatment options.
- Maintain accurate patient records, documenting all care provided in compliance with legal and organisational requirements.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training to enhance nursing skills.
Qualifications
- Valid registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) as a Registered Nurse.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, medication administration, and patient care practices.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport with patients from diverse backgrounds.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- A compassionate approach with a genuine desire to help others in a healthcare setting.
- Previous experience in a clinical environment is advantageous but not essential for newly qualified nurses.
