We are seeking daytime production operatives with operating hours of 6am to 6pm Monday to Thursday. We do have other shift patterns available that include nights and weekends.
Role Responsibilities
- Manufacture products in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP)
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), batch manufacturing records and work instructions accurately
- Weigh, measure, blend and process raw materials to approved specifications
- Set up, operate, monitor production equipment safely and efficiently
- Complete production documentation accurately and in real time to ensure full traceability
- Carry out in-process quality checks and report any deviations or non-conformances
- Maintain high standards of hygiene, cleanliness and housekeeping in production areas
- Perform equipment cleaning and line clearance in accordance with GMP requirements
- Ensure products are correctly labelled, packaged and stored
- Adhere to Health & Safety, food safety and quality policies at all times
- Identify opportunities to improve production efficiency while maintaining compliance
- Working collaboratively with Production, Quality, Engineering and Warehouse colleagues
- Participate and achieve all training activities and maintain GMP and Health & Safety knowledge and competency
- Support stock control by accurately recording the use of raw materials and report shortages
- Always wear and maintain the required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

- Ability to follow standard operating procedures, safety protocols and working instructions
- Commitment to following Health and Safety procedures with a proactive mindset
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast -paced environment
- Good attention to detail to ensure product quality and accuracy
- Ability to carry out manual handling tasks required for the role
- Willingness to wear PPE and comply with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice)
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Positive attitude with willingness to learn and adapt to different production tasks
- Ability to identify and report quality, safety or equipment issues
- Ability to understand, speak, read and write English to safely perform the duties of the role
Pay: £14.01-£14.73 per hour
