Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Painter and Decorator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for transforming spaces through expert painting and decorating techniques, ensuring high-quality finishes that meet client specifications. Your work will contribute to creating visually appealing, durable, and professional environments across a variety of projects. .
Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, filling holes, and applying primers to ensure optimal paint adhesion
- Apply paints, varnishes, wallpapers, and other decorative finishes using brushes, rollers, sprayers, or other tools
- Follow detailed project plans and specifications to achieve precise results
- Collaborate with team members and clients to select appropriate colors, textures, and materials for each project
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by properly handling tools and disposing of waste materials
- Conduct quality checks throughout the project to ensure finishes meet standards and client expectations
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and clients regarding project progress or any issues encountered
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction painting and decorating with a strong portfolio of completed projects
- Ability to operate various painting tools and equipment safely and efficiently
- Good communication skills in English to understand instructions and collaborate with team members
- Knowledge of safety protocols related to working at heights, handling chemicals, and using power tools
- Strong attention to detail with an eye for precision and quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments
