Overview
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Production Administrator to join our manufacturing team. In this key role, you will provide administrative support to the Production Manager and the wider production team.
This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced environment.
This is a full time role, based in our manufacturing plant. The working hours are Monday to Thursday 7.30am to 4pm and Friday 7.30am to 3pm.
Duties
- Prepare accurate cutting lists and technical drawings, both digitally and in hard copy, for issue to the manufacturing team.
- Use relevant software and production systems to process, print and confirm Production Orders and Picking Schedules.
- Prepare, collate and issue picking lists, labels and production documentation to support the manufacturing process.
- Print and distribute technical drawings and documentation for issue to site teams.
- Maintain accurate digital and physical production records, including timesheets, picking lists, cutting lists and load sheets.
- Ensure Quality and Health & Safety records are completed accurately, maintained and readily available.
- Develop a good understanding of the productivity bonus scheme to provide effective support and cover across the team.
- Communicate and support the monitoring of factory KPIs, helping to keep the wider team informed of performance.
- Manage PPE stock records, including monitoring stock levels and controlling the issue of PPE to employees.
- Maintain accurate production planning sheets, ensuring information is kept up to date and supports effective workflow and scheduling.
- Work closely with manufacturing, planning and site teams to ensure information and documentation are accurate, timely and readily available.
Experience
- Previous experience in a manufacturing, production or administrative environment is desirable but not essential.
- Good IT and Microsoft Office skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Ability to manage documentation accurately and meet deadlines.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
- A willingness to learn and develop knowledge of production processes and systems.
Pay: £25,775.00 per year
