We are seeking an energetic and attentive Security Guard to join our team for weekend day shifts. This role offers an exciting opportunity to ensure the safety and security of our clients’ premises during daytime hours on weekends. As a key part of our security team, you will be responsible for monitoring the property, preventing loss, and responding swiftly to any incidents with professionalism and confidence.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular surveillance using CCTV systems to monitor premises and detect suspicious activity
- Perform loss prevention measures by observing and deterring theft or vandalism
- Maintain a visible security presence by patrolling designated areas during your shift
- Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, or incidents, providing first aid if necessary
- Record detailed shift reports, incident logs, and surveillance observations accurately
- Control access points by verifying identification of visitors, contractors, and employees
- Collaborate with emergency responders when required to ensure safety protocols are followed
Skills
- Strong surveillance skills with experience operating CCTV systems effectively
- Knowledge of loss prevention techniques to safeguard assets and property
- Ability to respond calmly and efficiently in emergency situations, including administering first aid when needed
- Excellent observational skills with keen attention to detail during patrols and inspections
- Good communication skills for reporting incidents clearly and professionally
- Physical fitness to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods during shifts
