Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Front of House Staff to join Birria Boyz. The successful candidate will be the welcoming face of our establishment, providing exceptional guest service and ensuring a memorable dining experience. Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage reservations efficiently
- Take accurate food orders, ensuring clear communication with kitchen staff
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and maximise sales opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including tables, counters, and service stations
- Handle guest enquiries courteously, resolving any issues promptly to ensure satisfaction
- Assist with food safety protocols and ensure compliance with health regulations
- Support kitchen staff with basic food preparation when required
- Manage cash transactions accurately and process payments efficiently
- Ensure a welcoming atmosphere by engaging positively with guests throughout their visit
Skills
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and food preparation techniques
- Excellent guest service skills with a friendly and professional demeanour
- Good organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Basic maths skills for handling payments and bills accurately
- Kitchen or culinary experience is a plus, demonstrating familiarity with food handling procedures
- Time management skills to ensure timely service during busy periods
- Ability to upsell menu items naturally to enhance guest experience and sales performance
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed
