Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate chef/cook to join our team. Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards
- Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards
- Assist in menu planning and ingredient selection to maintain quality and consistency
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils
- Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management to minimise waste
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during busy periods
- Serve meals to guests when required, maintaining professionalism and attentiveness
- Follow health & safety procedures diligently at all times
Experience
- Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a professional kitchen environment
- Experience working in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred
- Familiarity with food safety standards, including HACCP principles
- Prior experience serving guests or customers is advantageous
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high standards of quality and presentation
Pay: £12.21-£19.27 per hour
