We are a small independent non franchised care company situated in the Great Yarmouth area offering care within Yarmouth and surrounding areas.
Overview
We are seeking a full time care worker to join our team, work will include day time and evening shifts. There will be an expectation that the applicant will work alternate weekends operating from Great Yarmouth delivering care to surrounding areas including: NR30, NR31 and parts of NR29.
Duties
To provide personalised client care, including assistance with daily activities such as:
- personal care - bathing and dressing
- medication - administering, assisting and prompting, following prescribed instructions and maintaining accurate records
- Meal preparation and service
- Light housekeeping tasks
- Driving clients to appointments or activities as required, ensuring safe transportation practices
- Monitoring wellbeing and reporting any concerns promptly to healthcare professionals and or family members
- Maintaining confidentiality and adhering to all health and safety regulations, including first aid procedures
Qualifications
- Previous experience desirable but not essential as full training is given
- Valid UK driving licence and access to a car is essential
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build trusting relationships with our clients.
