Job Summary
Azlaan Immigration Services Ltd is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Financial Account Manager to oversee the company's financial operations, manage client financial matters, and support strategic business growth. The successful candidate will ensure accurate financial reporting, maintain compliance with relevant regulations, manage budgets and cash flow, and work closely with management to improve financial performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the company's day-to-day financial operations.
- Prepare monthly management accounts, financial reports, and performance analysis.
- Monitor income, expenditure, cash flow, and profitability.
- Prepare annual budgets and financial forecasts.
- Maintain accurate accounting records using accounting software.
- Oversee sales and purchase ledgers, bank reconciliations, and journal entries.
- Manage payroll processes and pension contributions.
- Prepare and submit VAT returns and ensure tax compliance.
- Liaise with external accountants, auditors, banks, and HMRC where required.
- Monitor debtor and creditor balances and oversee credit control.
- Review financial performance and identify opportunities to improve profitability.
- Produce financial reports for Directors and support strategic decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, anti-money laundering procedures, and data protection requirements.
- Support financial planning for business expansion and new projects.
- Assist with internal financial controls, risk management, and process improvements.
- Supervise finance staff where applicable and provide training and guidance.
- Maintain confidentiality of all financial and client information.
Skills & Qualifications
Essential
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
- Professional qualification such as ACCA, ACA, CIMA, IFA, AAT, or equivalent (qualified or part-qualified depending on the role).
- Minimum 3 years' experience in finance or accounting.
- Strong knowledge of UK accounting principles and tax regulations.
- Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, or IRIS.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines.
Pay: £33,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
