Multi-Trader / Skilled Maintenance Operative
We are looking for a skilled, reliable and hardworking Multi-Trader to join our team. The ideal candidate will be an experienced tradesperson who is confident carrying out a wide range of general building, maintenance and repair work to a high standard.
We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, is dependable, works well independently and has a proven track record as a multi-trader.
The Role
You will be responsible for carrying out a variety of maintenance, repair, refurbishment and general building works. The successful candidate should be competent across several trades and able to assess jobs, find practical solutions and complete work efficiently and professionally.
Typical duties may include:
- General building and maintenance
- Plastering and patch repairs
- Painting and decorating
- Carpentry and joinery
- Basic plumbing repairs
- Tiling
- Flooring and associated repairs
- Silicone and sealant work
- Door, lock and ironmongery repairs
- Kitchen and bathroom maintenance
- General property repairs and refurbishment
- Making good after other trades
- Identifying defects and carrying out remedial works
- Working to a high standard while maintaining a clean and safe working environment

We are looking for someone who has:
Proven experience working as a Multi-Trader / Maintenance Operative
Strong practical skills across multiple trades
Excellent attention to detail and pride in their workmanship
A hardworking and positive attitude
Excellent reliability and timekeeping
The ability to work independently and use initiative
Good communication and customer service skills
The ability to diagnose problems and find practical solutions
A professional approach and good work ethic
A good selection of their own professional tools
The ability to manage jobs from start to finish
A full UK driving licence [if required]
Relevant trade qualifications or certifications [if applicable]
