We are looking for a Hospitality Events Coordinator to support the planning and delivery of events across Glasgow. You will coordinate suppliers, schedules, catering requirements and venue arrangements while ensuring clients receive a professional and well organised service.
This is a practical mid level role for someone who enjoys working with people, managing several priorities and helping events run smoothly from initial enquiry through to completion.

Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the planning and delivery of corporate events, private functions, conferences and catered hospitality services.
- Communicate with clients to confirm event requirements and provide regular updates throughout the planning process.
- Liaise with caterers, equipment providers, venue teams, decorators and other external suppliers.
- Prepare event timelines, booking schedules, setup plans and service arrangements.
- Coordinate menus, dietary requirements, guest numbers, service times and catering equipment needs.
- Assist with venue selection, site visits, room layouts, access arrangements and event setup requirements.
- Maintain accurate booking records, event briefs, supplier details, invoices and client correspondence.
- Attend selected events to assist with setup, guest coordination, supplier arrivals and service delivery.
- Resolve scheduling changes, supplier delays and client requests in a professional manner.
- Collect post event feedback and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
What We Are Looking For:
Experience:
- At least 2 years of experience in hospitality, events, catering, venue coordination or customer service.
Event Knowledge:
- Practical understanding of event planning, catering operations, supplier coordination and guest service.
Organisation:
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to manage multiple events and deadlines simultaneously.
Communication:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with clients, suppliers and colleagues.
Attention to Detail:
- Ability to manage event logistics, guest requirements and operational details accurately.
Problem Solving:
- Calm and proactive approach when responding to last minute changes or operational challenges.
Technology:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable using booking, scheduling or customer management systems.
Availability:
- Flexibility to support occasional evening or weekend events when required.
Pay: £2,312.00-£3,000.00 per month
