Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Tig Welder/Fabricator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for expertly welding and fabricating metal components using TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) welding techniques, ensuring precision and quality in every project. Your mechanical knowledge, attention to detail, and ability to work with various tools will contribute to the successful assembly of custom metal structures, sheet metal components, and fabricated parts. Responsibilities
- Perform TIG welding on various metals, including steel, aluminum, and other alloys, adhering to specified technical drawings and safety standards
- Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to cut, shape, and assemble sheet metal and fabricated parts
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics to ensure accurate fabrication and assembly
- Operate fabrication machinery and power tools efficiently while maintaining a safe work environment
- Measure materials accurately using basic math skills to ensure precise cuts and welds
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot fabrication issues and improve processes
Experience
- Proven experience in TIG welding with a strong understanding of welding techniques
- Hands-on experience with fabrication involving sheet metal, mechanical assembly, and the use of hand tools and power tools
- Mechanical knowledge that supports understanding of structural components and assembly procedures
- Ability to read technical drawings, blueprints, or schematics accurately
- Basic math skills necessary for measurements, calculations, and quality control
- Prior work experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
