Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic F&B Assistant to join our hospitality team. The successful candidate will support the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring exceptional guest experiences through attentive service and efficient food handling. Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is advantageous, but a positive attitude and willingness to learn are equally valued.
Responsibilities
- Serve food and beverages to guests in a courteous and professional manner, ensuring high standards of guest service.
- Assist with food preparation and presentation, adhering to food safety standards at all times.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, kitchen, and service stations.
- Support with stock replenishment, including ordering and organising supplies as needed.
- Upsell menu items and specials to maximise sales opportunities while providing honest recommendations.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including food safety procedures.
- Handle guest enquiries promptly and courteously, resolving any issues efficiently to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Assist in setting up tables, clearing dishes, and preparing the dining area for service.
- Support team members during busy periods by sharing responsibilities effectively.
Skills
- Proven experience in hospitality or restaurant environments is preferred; relevant culinary or kitchen experience is advantageous.
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling procedures.
- Excellent guest service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanour.
- Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions and bill calculations.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure whilst maintaining attention to detail.
- Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Time management skills to ensure smooth service flow during busy periods.
- Experience in food preparation and serving techniques is desirable.
- Ability to upsell menu items confidently while maintaining excellent guest relations.

Pay: £12.71-£13.00 per hour
