Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and energetic Part-Time Forklift Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating forklifts to load, unload, and transport pallets within our facility. Your keen mechanical knowledge and attention to safety will ensure efficient handling of goods, supporting smooth warehouse operations. Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklift equipment to load and unload delivery’s with precision and care
- Transport materials from the warehouse to the shop using proper handling techniques
- Assist with inventory management by updating records in the warehouse management system accurately
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals and ensure timely deliveries
Qualifications
- Proven experience operating forklift equipment in a warehouse and road setting
- Strong materials handling skills, including heavy lifting and proper lifting techniques
- Knowledge of shipping & receiving procedures and safety protocols
- Basic math skills for inventory counts and deliveries
- Prior warehouse experience is essential; YOU MUST HAVE A VALID FORKLIFT LICENSE AND A FULL UK DRIVING LICENSE
