- Helping gather information, statistics and supporting evidence for applications.
- Maintaining a database of funding opportunities, deadlines and application outcomes.
- Supporting the monitoring and reporting requirements of successful grants.
- Working with trustees to develop funding strategies and priorities.
- Identifying new opportunities for sponsorship and charitable partnerships.
- Helping ensure applications are submitted accurately and on time.
What We're Looking For
- Good written communication skills.
- Strong research and organisational skills.
- Good attention to detail.
- Comfortable using email, Microsoft Office and online research tools.
- Able to work independently and manage your own workload.
- A passion for supporting families of seriously ill children.
- Previous experience with fundraising or grant applications is welcome but not essential.
What You'll Gain
- The opportunity to make a genuine difference to families of seriously ill children.
- Experience in charity fundraising, grant writing and funding research.
- Develop valuable research, writing and project management skills.
- Work alongside an ambitious and growing charity.
- Volunteer references after a period of service.
- The satisfaction of helping secure funding that directly supports families when they need it most.
