Are you tired of working in a clinical care centre? Do you love fun, active, care, and supporting great conversations?
At Daybreak our days are about celebrating – everything every day. Our members are full of life, stories, and love to chat. We are looking for a new Manager, who doesn’t sit but someone who wants to enjoy life, as much as our members do.
At Daybreak you can shape your own clubs and be supported by passionate teams.
At Daybreak you will inspire and support a group of positive skilled staff, the way you will be inspired and supported.
At Daybreak you will make a direct impact on people’s lives – and they will thank you for your efforts.
Are you:
- Engaging: Can you walk into a room and connect with people, lead songs, dance to Neil Young, engage elderly in conversation.
- Team player: Hands on leader. You will work alongside your team, making tea, as well as doing paperwork, because it is your club and you take pride in every aspect of it.
- Resilient: You are experienced and you know that care can be challenging, and you can inspire your team on the hard days, stay calm in an emergency, and laugh every day.
- You get it: You understand that a manager’s role includes paperwork including risk assessments, rota, attendance, and budgets.
Why is this a great job
- Bringing it: Running a warm, welcoming, and energetic club that is fun to come to every single day.
- Supporting the team: Ensuring that all staff and volunteers feel valued and heard, just like you’ll feel.
- Growing the service: Making anyone who walks in to your club feel welcomed and engaged from the moment they walk in and want to return – again and again.
- Reassuring: Being the friendly voice that reassures carers and families that their loved ones are in a safe and fun place. Also reassuring members that they are safe and empowered.
