Candidate will be required to provide cover in the role of Linen Porter, preparing, carrying and delivering linen stocks on site. Experience in driving long wheel based transit type vans is desired and a full clean driving licence is essential. Other duties include cleaning and maintenance of holiday accommodation hot tubs and other general duties as required. This role is permanent, 24 - 40 hours per week and will require alternate weekend working. Shift hours will generally be 9.30am to 6.00pm. A good work ethic is essential as is excellent personal presentation and organisation.

JOB SCOPE AND PURPOSE: To practise excellent time management with safe and conscientious driving skills. Offer a high standard of customer care and a consistent “pristine clean” in all cleaning undertaken.
RESPONSIBLE TO: Site Manager
PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES
- To report for duty in good time as per rota, clean and tidy and wearing the appropriate uniform.
- To perform all tasks to a consistent high standard as detailed within the housekeeping department.
- To treat all working colleagues and customers in a polite and courteous manner at all times.
- To give co-operation to any customer and colleague requiring assistance in a prompt, caring and helpful manner.
- To be flexible in assisting around the different areas of the housekeeping department in response to the business and client or customer needs.
- To attend briefing sessions when required.
- To attend training sessions when required and to operate in line with the training or information received.
- To demonstrate a pride in the department and a high level of commitment.
- To positively contribute to the presentation of the housekeeping department.
- To minimise operating costs by using all equipment and products in accordance with Company or Manufacturer guidelines.
- To report all maintenance requirements and hazards in the workplace to your Supervisor or Site Manager.
- To comply with statutory and legal requirements for fire, health and safety and employment.Read, understand and comply with your employee and health and safety handbooks.
- To adhere to Company rules at all times.
- To carry out any reasonable request by Management.
- To complete the delivery and collection of cleaning materials, equipment and linen to and from the accommodation throughout the Village within the specified time allocation.
- To respond to the requests of fellow colleagues requiring further supplies in order for them to complete their duties.
- To clean areas to the pristine standards as stated in Bracken Company Training.
- To return any lost property to your Supervisor or Manager.
- To keep equipment in good working order and handle in a responsible manner.
- Responsible for monitoring and undertaking the basic maintenance of the company vehicles, defined as regularly checking oil and water levels and tyre pressure.
- Responsible for the interior and exterior of the company vehicles, defined as ensuring that they are maintained to a high standard of cleanliness.
- Any damage to or faults with the Company vehicles must be reported to the Site Manager immediately in order that appropriate action may take place to ensure safety.
- Must comply with safe manoeuvring and adhere to the speed limit enforced throughout Ribby Hall Village.
