We’re looking for an experienced and forward‑thinking Asset Manager to join our Hard FM (Estates) team at Queen’s Hospital, Romford. This is a key role supporting the delivery of safe, compliant, and efficient healthcare environments through robust asset management, data integrity, and lifecycle planning.
You’ll work closely with Project Managers, Design Teams, Compliance colleagues, Contractors, and client stakeholders to ensure asset information is accurate, accessible, and aligned with both local and national standards. This role is central to the successful implementation of the Local Asset Management Plan (LAMP) and the wider Health & Care Segment Asset Management Plan (SAMP).
Key Responsibilities

Develop and manage the site LAMP, ensuring alignment with organizational and client objectives.

Maintain and improve the asset register, ensuring all data meets required standards and supports operational decision‑making.

Coordinate asset data transfer from lifecycle partners and capital project teams into Active Plan (PIM) and Maximo.

Support project handovers by collating and validating technical documentation for inclusion in the Annual Schedule of Programmed Maintenance (ASoPM).

Develop SOPs, LOPs and workflows to support efficient operations and compliance.

Produce reports and scenario modelling to inform Estates strategy and investment planning.

Ensure data governance and change control processes are in place and audited.

Train and up skill colleagues involved in asset management activities.

Support compliance with NHS Condition B and other regulatory requirements.

Drive continuous improvement of the asset management system and associated processes.
What You’ll Bring

ISO 55001 experience (certification desirable).

Strong background working within complex PFI and consortium environments.

Proven ability to manage change in business processes.

Excellent stakeholder management skills across clients, suppliers, and internal teams.

High level of planning, organization, and attention to detail.

Confident communicator with strong influencing skills.

Authentic leadership qualities and a commitment to quality and compliance.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD reading, and CAFM/CMMS platforms (Maximo preferred).
