8.35am until 3.20pm with 30 minutes own lunch and 30 minutes lunch time supervision

The governing board are seeking to appoint a dedicated teaching assistant to join our happy, welcoming Church school where all are encouraged to let their light shine by ‘Living and learning together in the light of God.’
This post will be to directly support learning under the guidance and support of the class teacher/ SENDCo. It will be a requirement to work with small groups of pupils and on occasion in a 1:1 capacity e.g. interventions or supporting specific children in class.
The ideal candidate will:
· Have experience of working in a similar position in schools
· Be willing to work with children with special educational needs including intimate care as required
· Have a calm and nurturing attitude
· Be able to facilitate children's learning in both 1:1 (e.g. interventions) and small groups
· Be able to share information and have professional communication with the class teacher.
· Be able to support the Christian ethos of our school
