Wellbeing Supervisor (FTC 12 months)
Basingstoke - 37.5 hours per week

Much of our work is directly associated, and aligned with various NHS Mental Health Services programmes. This is an exciting, career opportunity for someone with solid relevant experience together with some awareness and/or lived experience in mental ill-health. The mental health and wellbeing of the communities across Hampshire is our top priority and we are investing in strengthening our service delivery teams with an exciting new role.
We are looking for a Wellbeing Supervisor to join us to support our front-line teams on an administrative, operational and wellbeing level. Reporting to the Basingstoke Area Manager, the role supports our staff working both in GP surgeries and our wellbeing centre in Basingstoke. This is an on-site role with both some local travelling and some home working by arrangement with your line manager.
You will work closely with the Area Manager on supporting our ongoing service delivery, which will mean time spent on resource planning, prompt response to day-to-day issues, regular one-to-one time with the front line team, reporting and general administration. You will also deputise for the Area Manager as required in a wide range of areas including various meetings and covering holidays or other absences. This will also include working directly with colleagues in some areas of our service delivery such as office cover and our mental health focussed training programmes. Additionally, you will assist your team, our safeguarding lead and the Area Manager in making sure any safeguarding incidents are properly managed and reported.

Person Profile
Essential:
- A problem-solving and ‘can-do’ way of working and strong work ethic
- Ability to take ownership of your workload
- Empathy and compassion for people experiencing mental ill-health
- Experience of managing/supervising teams in a services environment
- Excellent listening, interpersonal and communication skills good IT skills (Microsoft suite)
- Access to your own transport and a current driver’s licence with business travel insurance
Desirable:
- Lived or working experience in a mental-health environment
- Experience of working in a healthcare environment
- Experience of working with CRM/Case Management systems
- Group speaking/presentation skills
