What do we want
We’re looking for a confident, experienced and motivated Restaurant Team Leader to help bring the Scarlet dining experience to life. You’ll be warm, composed and consistently professional — leading by example to deliver outstanding service across our restaurant, bar and intimate events spaces.
As a key presence in our guest journey, you’ll ensure every guest enjoys a seamless, tranquil and memorable experience from the moment they arrive. You’ll support, train and develop the team while upholding the highest standards of service, presentation and operational excellence.
This role is ideal for someone who is hands‑on, organised and passionate about luxury hospitality, with a desire to grow and to nurture the development of those around them.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Deliver exceptional hospitality and maintain consistently high service standards
- Lead, support and motivate the Restaurant and Bar team throughout service
- Provide training on product knowledge, wine pairings and service standards
- Contribute to the positive financial performance of Food & Beverage operations
- Train, mentor and evaluate team members to ensure consistent, high‑quality performance
- Maintain impeccable standards of quality control, hygiene, health & safety and cellar management
- Ensure smooth, elegant service through clear communication with the kitchen and wider teams
- Support meetings and events operations where required
- Foster a collaborative, positive and professional team environment
- Demonstrate a genuine passion for hospitality, creating memorable experiences for guests and colleagues
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a supervisory or team leader role within hospitality
- Experience in restaurant, bar or hotel food & beverage operations
- Strong understanding of luxury service standards and guest experience
- Knowledge of health & safety and food hygiene practices
