Lendscape has an exciting opportunity for a Graduate Finance Analyst to join our agile finance team. This role will be a key contributor within a fast-paced, multi-entity and multi-currency business, supporting financial control, reporting and continuous improvement across the function.
You will play an active role in driving process improvements as the business evolves, bringing a positive, proactive mindset and a willingness to challenge and enhance existing ways of working.
This role offers broad exposure across the full finance cycle, including revenue recognition, management reporting, statutory processes, and a major ERP transformation programme. You will also gain hands-on experience with AI-driven tools and data analytics, which are central to how our finance function operates.
There is a fully supported pathway to a professional accounting qualification (ACCA,CIMA or equivalent)
Revenue Management, Billing and Credit Control:
- Take ownership of billing processes across professional services, recurring revenue, and enhancements, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Maintain debtor reports, issue statements and reminders, and actively participate in credit control meetings to track and improve collections.
- Build strong relationships with clients to resolve payment delays and manage aged debt, escalating high-risk balances where necessary.
- Review sales opportunities and projects, ensuring alignment with commercial agreements.
- Create and manage project structures, including milestones, to support accurate billing and revenue recognition.
- Export, review, and upload timecards to appropriate projects, ensuring precise allocation against milestones.
- Reconcile accrued and deferred income to the trial balance.
- Work closely with Project Managers and Relationship Managers to ensure financial alignment across projects.
- Resolve client queries and invoice disputes in a professional and timely manner.
Other:
. Support the finance team and wider business with the implementation of new AI-native ERP systems and processes.
- Provide support to the annual audit process, ensuring smooth operations.
- Undertake ad-hoc finance-related duties as required.
- Develop a strong understanding of the end-to-end finance cycle and business operations.
- Identify opportunities to leverage AI and automation to improve finance processes
- Support the preparation of monthly management accounts and month-end reporting.
- Support ARR and MRR analysis and provide insights to inform commercial decision-making.
- Support the budgeting and forecasting process through financial analysis and planning.
Requirements
A degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Maths, or another numerate discipline (minimum 2:1), or studying AAT.- Understanding of core accounting principles (debits/credits, accruals, prepayments, and general ledger processes).
- Strong numerical aptitude and a natural inclination to question and investigate data.
- Intellectual curiosity and self-motivation — someone who takes initiative and thinks independently.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure.
- Ownership and Proactive Approach: Able to take ownership of tasks, work independently, and see work through to completion. Proactive in identifying, resolving, or escalating issues when needed.
- Professional in manner and communication, able to adapt to different audiences.
- Proficiency in Excel is essential, along with an interest in exploring automation for finance operations.
- Motivation to pursue a professional accountancy qualification (ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
