Contract Labour Solutions are looking for experienced Fencers to join a well-established contractor delivering major infrastructure works across the UK, including high-profile rail and large-scale projects.
You will be responsible for the installation and maintenance of steel security fencing and agricultural fencing systems across rail, highways, and rural environments.
Pay: £190p/d
Duration: This is an excellent opportunity offering temp-to-perm employment, with the opportunity to move into a permanent position directly with the client after 12 weeks.
Role: Candidates will be completing the following tasks.
- Installation of steel palisade, mesh, and security fencing
- Installation of agricultural fencing (stock fencing, post & wire, deer fencing)
- Erecting gates, hoarding, and boundary systems
- Working safely within railway and infrastructure environments
- Operating tools and small plant (post knockers, augers, etc.)
- Ensuring all works meet quality, safety, and environmental standards
- Working collaboratively with site teams and supervisors
Requirements: To be considered for this role candidates will need to show the following.
- Proven experience in steel and/or agricultural fencing
- CSCS card (essential)
- Full UK driving license (required)
- Experience working on rail or civil engineering projects (advantageous)
- Ability to work outdoors in all conditions
- Strong work ethic and commitment to health & safety
