This post reports to Eunyoung Chae (APTF), the Principal Investigator.
The post holder will lead a project developing a knock-in system to generate synthetic immune clusters in plants. The selected candidate must have expertise in molecular genetics in plant biology. Successful applicants will also have a PhD in plant sciences and a track record of research competency. Good communication and organisation skills are essential. The post holder provides guidance to junior members of the research group including research assistants, PhD students, and/or project volunteers. It is also expected that success of this project will formulate a larger scheme of research proposal. The PI will support the career development of the candidate, including fellowship applications.
