The Role
As a Kitchen Porter / Kitchen Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring our kitchen runs smoothly. Your organisation, energy and teamwork will help our chefs deliver exceptional food to every customer.
Key Responsibilities
- Washing pots, pans, crockery, cutlery and kitchen equipment.
- Keeping the kitchen, wash-up area and back-of-house clean and organised.
- Maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and food hygiene.
- Assisting chefs with basic food preparation when required.
- Receiving and putting away deliveries safely.
- Emptying bins and ensuring waste is disposed of correctly.
- Sweeping and mopping kitchen floors throughout service.
- Following all food safety, HACCP and health & safety procedures.
- Ensuring cleaning schedules are completed accurately.
- Helping maintain stock of cleaning materials and consumables.
- Supporting the wider kitchen team wherever needed.
- Taking pride in creating a clean, safe and efficient working environment.

- Previous kitchen experience is welcome but not essential—full training will be provided.
