Bond International has specialised in wholesale tyres for 50 years. Pocklington near York is the location of our HQ and first distribution centre. Our other four tyre distribution centres are located in Bracknell, Chepstow, Biggleswade, Tamworth, St Helens & Bathgate. We have grown and maintained our position as one of the UK's leading tyre wholesalers. Last year we supplied nearly 2.5 million tyres to the trade.
Bond International are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to join its dynamic and well-established business in Pocklington.
Working hours
- Monday - Thursday 09:00 - 17:30 & Fridays 14:00pm - 22:30pm
- Contracted 40 hours per week
- Daily unpaid 30-minute break
Pay:
- £13.02 an hour
- Any hours worked after the contracted hours (40 hours) will be paid at £13.02.

Responsibilities include:-
- Unloading and accurately locating tyres in the warehouse from deliveries received
- Accurate picking of tyres per those listed on the picking sheet, checking IPC codes where applicable to ensure accuracy
- Working at Heights
- Working at a level of efficiency required by the company as instructed by your supervisor
- Loading vans carefully and accurately per the packing sheets
- Performing stock checks to ensure stock accuracy
- Respectfully and safely using warehouse machinery where, and only if, you are authorised to do
- Adhering to company health and safety policies at all times
- Respecting, helping and encouraging your work colleagues
- Communicating shortages and stock discrepancies efficiently
- Keeping the warehouse and tyres in a clean and tidy state
- On rare occasions, and if you have the relevant licence, you may be required to do deliveries to customer and you will perform this willingly
- Ensuring you wear the correct personal protective equipment provided by the company at all times
- You will ensure you arrive promptly for the start of your shift and that you are dressed appropriately for warehouse work
