Reform R Pilates is a brand new, premium Reformer Pilates studio opening in Chandler’s Ford,
Southampton, in January 2027.
Built on the belief that Reformer Pilates should be accessible to real bodies with real histories, each with the innate potential to become so much more, we are creating a warm, expert-led environment that delivers genuine results.
This is not a cookie-cutter franchise. It is a carefully built, community-first studio, with serious ambitions to grow.
Reform Pilates is co-founded by an experienced fitness entrepreneur, Gareth Allen, and Jonathan Clark, the CEO of Jonathan Clark Physiotherapy, one of Hampshire's most respected physiotherapy practices. Our founding team brings decades of combined expertise in movement, rehabilitation and client experience. This is a rare opportunity to be the founding hire at a brand new premium studio. You will be both the face of our classes and the person who makes the studio run.
You will lead from the front - teaching the majority of our reformer sessions - whilst owning the day-to-day client experience, operations and studio culture.
As we grow, this role grows with you. We are building with the long term in mind, and the right person will have a clear path into a senior leadership position as we expand to additional sites.
What You'll Do
- Lead and deliver the majority of our Reformer Pilates classes across the weekly timetable
- Conduct client onboarding assessments and design personalised programmes
- Build and maintain strong client relationships that will drive retention and referrals
- Own the day-to-day studio operations, from scheduling, to cleanliness, to equipment maintenance and stock
- Manage class bookings, client communications and membership queries via our studio platform
- Support the pre-launch founding member campaign and soft launch preparation
- Contribute to content creation and social media presence to build the Reform Pilates brand
- Recruit, induct and supervise additional instructors as the timetable grows
- Report directly to the co-founders on studio performance, client feedback and operational improvements
