The Role
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking uPVC Window & Door Fabricator to join our workshop team. The successful candidate will be responsible for manufacturing high-quality uPVC windows and doors to specification, ensuring all products meet our quality standards before leaving the factory.
Whether you have extensive fabrication experience or are looking to develop your skills within the industry, we are keen to hear from individuals with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
Key Responsibilities
- Fabricate uPVC windows and doors to customer specifications.
- Assemble frames, sashes, doors, and associated components.
- Fit hardware including hinges, handles, locks, and other ironmongery.
- Read and interpret fabrication drawings and production schedules.
- Carry out quality checks throughout the manufacturing process.
- Ensure products are completed accurately and on time.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment.
- Operate workshop machinery and tools safely in accordance with company procedures.
- Work closely with colleagues to meet daily production targets.
Skills & ExperienceEssential
- Previous experience fabricating uPVC windows and/or doors (preferred but not essential depending on experience).
- Good practical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work accurately and efficiently.
- Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Commitment to maintaining high quality standards.
Desirable
- Experience using fabrication machinery and hand tools.
- Knowledge of uPVC window and door systems.
- Understanding of health and safety within a manufacturing environment.
