Neatwork Group is a fast-growing commercial cleaning and facilities management company based in Rochford, Essex. We provide cleaning, external cleaning and grounds maintenance services to support schools, offices, nurseries, communal buildings and commercial properties across Essex.
As our business continues to grow, we're looking for an experienced, reliable and proactive Mobile Cleaner / Supervisor to join our operations team.
This is a varied role where no two days are the same. You'll spend time carrying out specialist floor cleaning, supporting our cleaning teams, auditing sites, assisting with new contract mobilisations and working closely with our Contracts Manager to ensure every site is operating to the highest possible standard.

The Role
You will play a key part in maintaining standards across our contracts and supporting the day-to-day operation of the business.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Carrying out specialist floor cleaning, including machine scrubbing, buffing, burnishing, stripping and sealing.
- Completing deep cleans, periodic cleans and specialist cleaning works.
- Covering staff holidays, sickness and emergency absences across commercial sites.
- Carrying out regular site audits and quality inspections to ensure our cleaning standards are consistently achieved.
- Identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions where required.
- Supporting the Contracts Manager with the day-to-day management of cleaning contracts.
- Assisting with the mobilisation of new contracts, including setting up sites, delivering equipment and supporting new starters.
- Training, mentoring and supporting cleaning operatives to ensure company procedures and cleaning standards are followed.
- Responding to operational issues and helping resolve client requests quickly and professionally.
- Delivering cleaning equipment, machinery and consumables to sites.
- Reporting maintenance issues, health & safety concerns and operational risks.
- Building positive relationships with clients while representing Neatwork professionally at all times.
- Supporting the wider management team with operational projects as the business continues to grow.
Essential Requirements
- Experience using professional floor cleaning machinery.
- Experience machine scrubbing, buffing and burnishing floors.
- Experience stripping and sealing hard floors.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Previous commercial cleaning experience.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Good communication and organisational skills.
- Able to work independently and use initiative.
- Reliable, trustworthy and professional.
Desirable
- Previous supervisory or team leader experience.
- Carpet cleaning experience.
- Pressure washing experience.
- Window cleaning experience.
- Experience working within schools or commercial environments.
- Knowledge of COSHH and Health & Safety procedures.
