Gooseberry Bush Day Nursery is seeking a dedicated and efficient Housekeeper to join our friendly team. If you have a keen eye for detail and enjoy creating a safe, tidy, and nurturing space for children and staff, we would love to hear from you.

Your Main Responsibilities:
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene throughout the nursery, including playrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, and staff areas.
- Carry out daily cleaning tasks such as mopping, vacuuming, sanitising, and dusting.
- Support with laundry, tidying, and other general housekeeping duties.
- Use cleaning products safely and follow all health and safety procedures.
- Assist with light kitchen duties such as loading/unloading the dishwasher or helping with meal preparation if required.
- Ensure infection control and hygiene standards are consistently maintained.
About You:
- Previous experience in cleaning or housekeeping (preferred but not essential – full training provided).
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
- Friendly and professional attitude.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining a clean, safe environment.
- Understanding of hygiene and safety in a childcare or similar setting (training provided).
Successful candidates will be required to undertake an enhanced DBS disclosure. Please note that it is an offence to apply for a role in regulated activity if barred from working with children.
