Overview
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented accounts administrator to join our dynamic team. Duties
- Manage accounts payable processes, ensuring timely and accurate payments using accounting software Sage.
- Assist with data entry tasks related to financial transactions, invoices, and expense reports
- Support the reconciliation of accounts using tools like software platforms to ensure data accuracy
- Maintain organised financial records and documentation for audit readiness
- Collaborate with the finance team to process invoices and track outstanding payments
- Handle general administrative duties including filing, correspondence.
- Support month-end closing activities by preparing reports and verifying account balances
- General office administration and data entry
- Answering telephone calls and responding to emails
- Processing purchase and sales invoices
- Matching invoices with purchase orders and delivery notes
- Maintaining accurate financial and customer records
- Assisting with supplier and customer account queries
- Filing, scanning and organising documentation
- Supporting credit control and payment follow-ups
- Assisting with bank reconciliation and other basic bookkeeping duties

Requirements
- A minimum of 5-years experience with the accounting software Sage is required
- Strong knowledge of accounts payable processes and financial services operations
- Familiarity with data entry procedures and maintaining accurate financial records
- Experience working with enterprise systems like BreatheHR or similar platforms is a plus
- Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively across departments
- Previous experience in an administrative or accounts-based role
- Confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel and Outlook
- Experience with accounting software would be beneficial
- Accurate and comfortable working with figures
- Well organised, with good attention to detail
- Clear and professional communication skills
- Dependable, adaptable and able to prioritise your workload
- Available to begin work at short notice
