Pay: £14.50 per hour + monthly profit share
At Titch Coffee House, coffee has always been at the heart of what we do. We're looking for an experienced Head Barista to help lead our team and continue raising the standard of every cup we serve.
We're looking for someone who loves specialty coffee, enjoys sharing their knowledge with others and takes pride in creating consistently exceptional drinks. You'll work closely with our Manager to lead the day-to-day running of the shop while taking ownership of everything coffee-related.
What you'll be responsible for
- Leading our coffee programme and maintaining exceptional coffee quality every day.
- Training, mentoring and developing our barista team.
- Setting brew recipes and ensuring consistency across every drink.
- Carrying out quality control and continually improving our coffee offering.
- Working alongside the Manager to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the shop.
- Leading by example during busy services.
- Working with our coffee partner, Unorthodox Roasters, and helping us continue to develop our coffee programme.
What we're looking for
We're looking for someone who:
- Has excellent specialty coffee knowledge and experience. This is the most important requirement for the role.
- Has previous hospitality experience (also essential).
- Has experience training or mentoring other baristas.
- Has exceptionally high standards and a great eye for detail.
- Is calm, organised and confident leading a team.
- Is friendly, approachable and genuinely community-minded.
- Wants to continue learning and grow within the specialty coffee industry.
