Tailored Family Support is a small, family-run and growing home care service supporting people in their own homes across Consett and the surrounding areas. We are looking for a compassionate, reliable and experienced Female Home Care Assistant to join our friendly team.
Unlike many larger providers, we believe care should never feel rushed. We give our carers the time to build meaningful relationships with the people they support and deliver high-quality, person-centred care.

Your role will include
- Personal care
- Companionship and wellbeing visits
- Meal preparation and hydration support
- Medication prompts
- Light household duties
- Supporting clients to attend appointments and access the community
Essential requirements
- Female applicant (due to the needs and wishes of the people we support)
- Full UK driving licence
- Access to your own vehicle
- Reliable, caring and professional approach
- Must live within a reasonable travelling distance of Consett (DH8, DH9)
- At least 2 years experience in the care industry.
- Ability to cover mornings, evenings and weekends on a rota.
