Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Welder/Fabricator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating, welding, and assembling metal components to create high-quality products and structures. Responsibilities
- Perform TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) and Stick welding to join metal parts with precision and consistency
- Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to cut, shape, and assemble sheet metal and other materials
- Fabricate custom components according to detailed drawings, specifications, and project requirements
- Operate fabrication machinery and tools safely while maintaining a clean work area
- Conduct quality inspections on completed welds and assemblies to ensure adherence to standards
- Assist in the assembly of fabricated parts into larger structures or systems
- Follow safety protocols diligently and report any hazards or issues immediately
Requirements
- Proven experience with TIG welding, Stick welding, and general fabrication techniques
- Strong mechanical knowledge and familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment
- Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and basic math for measurements and calculations
- Knowledge of sheet metal work, assembly processes, and safety procedures in a manufacturing setting
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Basic understanding of mechanical principles and the use of hand-held measuring devices
