Job Overview

Duties
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to deliver or collect goods, furniture, or household items across designated routes
- Assist with loading and unloading items, including heavy lifting and careful handling to prevent damage
- Ensure all deliveries and removals are completed on time, accurately documented, and in accordance with company procedures
- Communicate effectively with customers to confirm delivery details and provide excellent service throughout the process
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform routine safety checks before and after each shift
- Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies during transportation activities
- Support warehouse operations by organizing stock, preparing items for transport, and assisting with inventory management when needed
Experience
- Previous experience as a delivery driver or removals operative is highly desirable
- Valid <PERSON> driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Experience in commercial driving, including operating large vans or trucks
- Warehouse experience or familiarity with logistics operations is advantageous
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently over extended periods
- Strong communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members
- Knowledge of road safety regulations and good navigation skills

Pay: £12.71-£16.00 per hour
