Harland Services Ltd are seeking experienced Care Assistants to support a female client who lives in S43 Chesterfield, Derbyshire.
(Part Time)
Pay Rate: £16.23 Per Hour
PA Specification
Working in a client’s home and supporting them in the community, the successful candidates will be positive, pro-active, caring, protective and have a good sense of humour, the support team will receive training in several clinical tasks, including:
- Gastrostomy care, including feeding and medication administration
- Oral and nasal suctioning
- Asthma management
- Intermittent catheterisation
- Manual handling needs
Experience in working with clients with cerebral palsy preferable, along with any of the above skills.
Following training, there will be a period of shadow shifts working with the client and those who have cared for them previously. The client is non-verbal but expresses themself in other ways. Therefore, these shadow shifts are vital to establish an understanding of each other.

Draft Shift pattern
Week 1 - 2 shifts midweek from 5pm til 10pm. (20 hours)
Week 2 - 2 shifts midweek from 5pm til 10pm.
Weekend 10am til 10pm (44 hours)
Week 3 - 2 shifts midweek from 5pm til 10pm. (20 hours)
Week 4 - 1 shifts midweek 5pm til 10pm.
1 shift from 4pm on Friday until 12pm on Saturday (overnight).
(50 hours)
