Responsibilities
- Lead structured martial arts classes for diverse age groups and skill levels, ensuring a safe and motivating environment
- Demonstrate proper techniques, stances, and forms while providing clear instructions to students
- Develop customized training plans to support individual progress and goals
- Monitor student performance, offer constructive feedback, and celebrate achievements to boost confidence
- Maintain discipline and foster respect among students during all sessions
- Organize special events such as belt tests, demonstrations, or competitions to showcase student progress
- Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times and equipment is well-maintained
Qualifications
- Proven sports coaching experience with a focus on martial arts or related physical activities
- Strong teaching skills with the ability to communicate complex techniques clearly and effectively
- Passionate about mentoring students and fostering a positive learning environment
- Knowledge of martial arts disciplines such as karate, taekwondo, jiu-jitsu, or similar styles is preferred
- Ability to motivate students of varying ages and skill levels with enthusiasm and professionalism
- Certification in martial arts instruction or coaching is a plus but not mandatory; willingness to obtain relevant certifications is encouraged
