Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including floors, windows, restrooms, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning tools and supplies
- Ensure all surfaces are sanitized and maintained to high standards of cleanliness
- Handle waste disposal efficiently and responsibly, adhering to recycling protocols where applicable
- Restock supplies such as soap, paper towels, and cleaning materials to ensure continuous availability
- Respond promptly to specific cleaning requests or special event needs
- Maintain safety standards by using proper cleaning techniques and handling chemicals carefully
- Collaborate with team members to complete daily cleaning schedules effectively
Skills
- Previous janitorial or commercial cleaning experience is highly preferred
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality work
- Good organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently
- Excellent customer service skills to interact politely with staff and visitors when needed
- Ability to perform light cooking or food preparation tasks is a plus
- Experience working in hotel or hospitality environments is advantageous
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced settings
