Purpose of the Role
The Physiotherapist will provide high-quality, patient-centred physiotherapy assessment and treatment to patients of Lambert Sports Clinic and Lambert Medical Practice, working on a self-employed, zero-hours basis on Saturdays. The post-holder is responsible for delivering safe, effective, and evidence-based clinical care in line with professional and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out comprehensive physiotherapy assessments and formulate individualised treatment plans.
- Deliver hands-on physiotherapy treatment, rehabilitation, and advice to patients across a range of musculoskeletal and sports-related conditions.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and legible clinical records in accordance with clinic policy and professional standards.
- Work collaboratively with GPs, clinicians, and support staff at both sites to ensure coordinated patient care.
- Ensure all treatment is delivered safely, ethically, and within the scope of the practitioner's professional registration.
- Manage own clinical caseload and appointment schedule on the agreed working day (Saturday).
- Adhere to clinic health and safety, infection control, and safeguarding procedures.
- Maintain professional development and keep clinical knowledge and skills up to date.
Person Specification
Qualifications and Registration
- Degree in Physiotherapy (BSc or equivalent) from a recognised institution.
- Current registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Membership of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP) desirable.
- Must currently reside in the UK and have lived here for a minimum of 4 years.
Experience
Proven experience in musculoskeletal and/or sports physiotherapy, ideally within a private clinic or sports setting.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with patients and colleagues.
- Ability to work independently and manage own caseload.
- Good organisational skills and attention to accurate record-keeping.
