AJC Carpentry is seeking skilled 1st and 2nd Fix Site Carpenters to work on new build housing developments around Reading. This is price-work carpentry with strong earning potential and steady, ongoing projects. Please do not apply unless you have CSCS, dust extraction and experience of working on new build developments on price work.
Key Responsibilities
- 1st fix carpentry.
- 2nd fix carpentry.
- Follow site plans and instructions accurately.
- Maintain high standards of safety, quality and productivity.
- Work closely with the on-site Carpentry Project Manager.
- Keep work areas and tools clean, safe and well maintained.
Requirements
- Valid CSCS card.
- Minimum 3 years’ carpentry experience (improvers considered).
- Own cordless tools, dust extraction and dust mask.
- Reliable transport to travel between sites.
- Ability to work independently and deliver consistent results.
What We Offer
- Price-work earnings of approximately £1,000–£2,000 per week.
