Job Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Site Lead to oversee and coordinate our logistics operations. The ideal candidate will have multi drop delivery experience and some experience as a lead driver. This role involves managing a team of drivers and sorters at our designated warehouse base and maintaining effective communication with stakeholders. The Site Lead will play a pivotal role in ensuring that targets are met per site and motivating drivers. The Site Lead will at times be expected to support the delivery network and deliver where there is a requirement.
Duties
- Lead and manage a team of drivers , ensuring alignment with client requirements.
- Facilitate recruitment and interviews to ensure adequate number of drivers and sorters at all times.
- Respond to client emails/calls/queries in a timely and professional manner.
- Ensure all routes dispatch as per agreed dispatch times.
- Ensuring health and safety compliance on site by all team members
- Regularly update and work closely with Logistics Ops Manager and Head of Operations.
- Foster a collaborative team environment through effective communication skills.
Qualifications
- Experience as a Lead Driver
- Familiarity with using Excel and other Office software cloud
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities with the ability to motivate teams and negotiate effectively with stakeholders.

Pay: £145.00 per day
